Binance CEO Richard Teng recently revealed in an interview with the Financial Times that several governments and sovereign wealth funds have expressed interest in collaborating with the platform to create a dedicated crypto reserve. This initiative could mark a significant milestone for the global cryptocurrency market.

Teng shared that Binance has been approached by numerous countries seeking assistance in developing regulatory frameworks for crypto. While he did not name specific nations, he confirmed it involves several. This reflects the ongoing shift toward pro-digital asset policies that started late last year.

This has included initiatives for these entities to build Bitcoin reserves. In March, former US President Trump directed the development of a US crypto stockpile and a strategic BTC reserve plan. Teng later commented, “Compared to many other regions, [the US] is far ahead in this area.”
