Ark Invest Predicts Bitcoin Will Soar in the Next Five Years

Bitcoin has had an eventful year so far. After a tough start during the first quarter, the tide appears to be turning. This week, BlackRock made headlines by purchasing significant amounts of Bitcoin, helping the asset stabilize around the $94,000 mark.

By 2030, Bitcoin could see substantial growth, potentially reaching record-breaking values. Factors such as increased adoption, rising institutional interest, and advancements in blockchain technology are expected to boost its long-term price. OvenAdd predicts that in a bullish market, Bitcoin could climb to $644,032.55, while a bearish scenario might see it fall to $590,766.73.

However, this may just be the beginning. The US is shifting toward more pro-crypto regulations, a move expected to boost the entire industry. Adding to the optimism, Ark Invest recently projected Bitcoin could soar to $2.4 million by 2030.

A recent report by analyst David Puell revealed an updated bull-case price target for Bitcoin, surpassing the previous $1.5 million projection. The new estimate leverages the firm’s latest experimental model, which incorporates asset liquidity supply by accounting for lost or long-held tokens.

The bull-case projection assumes a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 70% from the end of last year through the next five years. Puell described the model as more “aggressive” compared to previous methods. The report also outlines a bear-case Bitcoin price estimate of $500,000 and a base-case projection of $1.2 million, reflecting a 53% CAGR.
